The core team is multidisciplinary and gathers engineers, scientists and technicians.
The company offers general contracting services for the development of deep geothermal projects: permitting, exploration, drilling, reservoir engineering, plant construction and operation.
ÉS-Géothermie was created in 2007, and the staff gathered a unique know-how in deep geothermal energy, taking advantage of the long term experience of the Soultz-sous-Forêts EGS pilot project and more recently in the Rittershoffen deep geothermal project in Alsace, France.
The company is now in charge of the operation of the Soultz-Sous-Forêts power plant and the Rittershoffen heat plant.
ÉS-Géothermie is a subsidiary of Électricité de Strasbourg, held by EDF.
